Celia Rubio-Walton

Owner | Board Certified Paralegal

Celia Rubio-Walton is the inspiration, owner and founder behind Texas Paralegal Services. After beginning her career as a legal professional in a traditional law firm at the age of 21, Celia learned every aspect of the law office from receptionist, bookkeeper, law library supervisor, legal secretary, legal assistant and finally paralegal.

Celia earned her degree later in her career and then took some time off in 2018 to make her family a priority. She returned to her legal career a year later, but quickly realized that the traditional law firm position would not allow the work-family life balance and scheduling flexibility which she desired. That is when Celia decided to redefine her professional career on new terms and become a virtual paralegal as she had essentially provided these services on a contract basis to several attorneys in the past.

On October 1, 2019, Texas Paralegal Services was launched. Celia is known by her professional demeanor and her attitude of excellence. She believes her greatest career highlight to date has been starting Texas Paralegal Services, but she is excited about the growth of the company in the years ahead.

Celia’s extensive legal background has given her experience in many areas of law, with a primary focus on family law. She finds both petitioner and respondent positions interesting. In the beginning of her career she assisted low-income litigants in a small town. Years later, her paralegal responsibilities included trial support for several high-conflict cases.  Celia has a natural gift for, and is particularly intrigued by, family law cases, case management and the discovery process. Some of her most heart-wrenching work included reviewing reports and preparing memorandum for CPS cases involving abused children. Celia has over 19 years experience working directly in the legal field and has founded Texas Paralegal Services with a firm dedication to providing a combination of quality service, experience, ethics and integrity.
